- Server, workstation, and network refresh cycles
- Vendor management for internet, phones, and line-of-business software
- Second opinion on a proposal you were handed
The vCIO role, without the full-time salary
Someone in your business has to decide what to replace this year, what can wait, and what a realistic technology budget looks like. Usually that falls to whoever is least busy, which is how businesses end up with five-year-old workstations and a surprise capital expense.
We meet quarterly, review what is aging, and give you a written twelve-month plan with costs attached. You approve what you want to fund.
Common projects
- Office moves. Cabling, internet provisioning lead times, phone porting, and cutover sequencing. Internet circuits are almost always the long pole — start ninety days out.
- Hardware refresh. Staged replacement so you are not buying every machine in the same quarter.
- Server and application migrations, including retiring on-premises servers that no longer earn their maintenance cost.
- Vendor management. We will talk to your ISP, your phone provider, and your software vendor so your staff does not have to.
Second opinions
If another provider handed you a proposal and you want a plain-language read on whether it is reasonable, we will do that as a fixed-fee engagement. No obligation to switch.
